Visited for tea on a Friday night, Maxwells has a really good vegan menu, just a shame they don't label which wines are vegan. I had already done some research beforehand so ordered a Pinot Grigio. We had vegan nachos, salt and pepper hash browns and a tomato & cheese gnocchi bake. The food was delicious, the nachos and hash browns are light bites but are good sized portions, we left clean plates. Service was great from Sarah and the young front of house team. Will definitely revisit very soon.
Sat on the roof top terrace in the sunshine at Maxwell's and it was blooming beautiful I had a burger with gorgonzola which was a bit too strong for my liking but my Mrs enjoyed her chilli chicken strips with salad. It really was a lovely experience and the service was exceptional
Came here for the first time for cocktails and food. The food was great, absolutely delicious. Portions were huge and full of flavour!! We got the big mac fries and the chicken tikka flatbread. The cocktails were nice but not that strong, missing some more alcohol... That might say more about me than the drinks though... staff that were working were really nice and attentive. I'm looking forward to coming back for another visit.

Popped in yesterday for a bite to eat and a drink. I ordered the cheeseburger fries, and my friends ordered the salt & pepper fries. With onion rings and a cheesey flat bread as extra. The food was absolutely amazing. Good portion size, and very well presented. The beer was good, too. Will definitely be back when I'm in Clitheroe, and I would highly recommend it to anyone else.
Just had a family brunch at Maxwells for 15 people - the food and service were absolutely excellent. Pre-ordering was simple and their communication was impeccable. Well done Team Maxwells!
A lovely place to stop for lunch and a drink ( soft or alcohol). The sandwich we had was very good and the onion rings were cooked fresh and one of the best I have eaten . We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was quite busy. Will probably go back during the week.
Fabulous place. Customer service is amazing. I left something behind on my visit, the staff worked hard to reunite me with glasses. Many business would not have been so helpful. When l am next in the area l will definitely visit again.
